Organized by Pyramids Group with the backing of key Saudi stakeholders and aligned with Vision 2030, the landmark 2026 edition achieved record international footfall, distinguished institutional engagement, and substantial bilateral deal-making.

Bringing together more than 550 exhibiting companies from 22 countries and 10,000+ professional trade visitors, the four-day exhibition facilitated high-impact B2B matchmaking and direct commercial sourcing alongside strategic creative and educational initiatives.

Prestigious Opening and Strong Industry Leadership

The 4th Saudi Fashiontex Expo commenced with an opening ceremony that set an international benchmark for cross-border commercial cooperation. Official keynote remarks were inaugurated by Mr. Imad Al-Aboud, Vice Chairman of the Jeddah Chamber, alongside leadership addresses by Dr. Mohamed Elsherif, Chairman of Pyramids Group, and Ms. Filiz Karakul, Managing Director of Pyramids Group.

The platform’s strategic importance was reinforced by an esteemed presence of international dignitaries and trade representatives, including H.E. Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri (Consul General of India), H.E. Sugiri Suparwan (Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia), H.E. MD. Shakhawat Hossain (Consul General of Bangladesh), as well as distinguished Consuls General and trade attachés representing Türkiye, Italy, and Japan.

The Kingdom’s dynamic private sector drove key business dialogues, championed by Mr. Khalid Alesayi (Founder & CEO of Alesayi EXO) and Mr. Omar Alsaggaf (General Manager of Sitra Alsaggaf Int. Trade Group Co.), alongside an address on talent empowerment by Ms. Sahar Bamaleem, Co-Founder and Head of the Fashion Pioneers Community.

Key Event Highlights: Exclusive Runway Showcase & Design Competition

A definitive highlight of the expo unfolded on Day 3, where the exhibition floor transformed into a runway for an exclusive Fashion Show & Design Competition, presented in collaboration with seminar partner Fashion Pioneers Community.

Attended by leading textile executives, buyers, and creative directors, the runway spotlighted rising regional design talent competing on technical ingenuity, aesthetic storytelling, and commercial feasibility:

  • The Top Three Designers were officially recognized and awarded honors during a dedicated ceremony, securing industry mentorship, factory production access, and strategic exposure.
  • The showcase bridged industrial manufacturing with ready-to-wear and couture innovation, demonstrating the commercial viability of the Kingdom’s emerging designers.

Four Days of High-Velocity Trade, Thought Leadership, and Trend Insights

Across all four days, the exhibition floor delivered continuous commercial momentum:

  • High-Impact B2B Matchmaking: Hundreds of targeted procurement meetings connected international fabric mills, yarn producers, garment manufacturers, and smart-textile innovators directly with major Saudi retail conglomerates, regional sourcing agents, and buying houses.
  • Textile Seminars: The Creativity and Design Platform with Fashion Pioneers: The knowledge sessions brought together 63 industry-leading speakers from Japan, Egypt, the UAE, China, India, and Sudan. Comprehensive panels addressed sustainable sourcing, technical textiles, circular manufacturing, and modern applications of traditional craft.
  • The Trend Area (Curated with Progetto Stile): Served as an interactive compass for trade buyers, merchandisers, and stylists, spotlighting material palettes, fabric moodboards, and directional silhouettes defining the upcoming 2027 collections.

Following the remarkable success of this edition, Pyramids Group has announced that the 5th Saudi Fashiontex Expo will return to Jeddah from September 27th to 30th, 2027, welcoming industry professionals and global brands for an expanded international showcase across the Gulf Region.
